The Red One, 2019

100” | Made from cotton fabric, batting, and thread | Pieced and quilted by machine

Monochromatic red quilt featuring a star pattern and a diagonal stain

What it looks like to put one quilt pattern on top of the other.

The “stain” is inspired by one of my favorite quilts of Gee’s Bend, Linda Pettway’s Log Cabin.
